The Wedding Gift project started with an idle conversation in a pub in Aberdeen, followed by rather more serious discussions at the 2002 comics convention in Bristol, UK. It led to Juliet and six top UK comics artists collaborating on an illustrated tale concerning many favourite characters from the Tales of Einarinn. The portfolio comprises a 40 page original story by Juliet E McKenna together with six A3 black and white prints showing Livak, Planir, Halice, Ryshad, Sorgrad and Gren, and Shiv in scenes from the tale.
